This young mezcal comes from Oaxaca , from the town of Agua del Espino / San Dionisio Ocotlán, and is handcrafted by Bruxo. It is a blend of 80% Espadín and 20% Barril agaves, from mature plants between 8 and 12 years old. It contains no meat; its name "Pechuga" refers to the heart of the maguey, which is separated and soaked after the initial distillation to infuse natural aromas.
